Custom Furniture
When ordering your table, desk, or coffee table, there are a number of ways to customize it to make it truly one of a kind! We get it though, you don’t build tables every day and making these decisions may feel intimidating.
Don’t stress. We’ve got you.
We are here to walk you through the process step by step (there are no stupid questions here). If at any point you feel overwhelmed or want to discuss details more with us in person, we are always available by phone or email. Before you send your deposit, we will make sure we talk in person to make sure all the details are ironed out before we get started.
Step 1: Size
Once you have measured the space where the piece will go, let us know the exact width, length, and shape you are looking for.
Live edge (natural edge) tables: Edges will always have variation from the exact specified measurements, and may have fluctuations from end to end in width.
Step 2: Style
These choices comedown to the following:
- single slab table
- book-matched slabs (2 nearly identical slabs mirroring one another forming the appearance of one slab)
- epoxy river or epoxy accents
- clean/straight edge
Step 3: Edge Profile
This choice comes down to live edge vs clean/straight edge. If you choose a straight edge, we typically do a 45 degree chamfer along the bottom edge for a bit more character.
Step 4: Wood
All of our slabs are locally sourced in the Southeast USA. These primarily include black walnut, white oak, pine, and sycamore
Step 5: Base
We source our table bases from a number of metal table base suppliers. Examples are as below, but we typically offer 5 main options.
